sometimes, bad things can happen to you out of repeated coincidences and bad luck. it’s hard to absorb but it doesn’t say anything about you or how lovable, capable, hardworking, beautiful, intelligent you are. most times, you feel like you deserved it when it wasn’t your fault. bad things can be meaningless, and it could have happened to anyone. don’t let those things define who you are, and please be kind to yourself instead of self-blaming.
